In the 2007 movie verse the Turtle's arch enemy Shredder has been defeated. Leonardo, the eldest of the team, has been sent away on a training mission to become a better leader and the family has grown apart. Raphael, bitter and jealous of the departure of his brother continues to fight New York's crime on his own, having taken over the secret identity of the "Nightwatcher", a vigilante often critisized by public opinion for his violent ways against criminals. Due to his nightly battles Raph spends the days mostly asleep, much to the dismay of his brother Donatello who accuses him of not caring or contributing to the well of the family at all. |

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are a fictional team of four anthropomorphic turtle mutants, who are trained by their sensei, Master Splinter, to become skilled Ninja warriors. From their home in the sewers of Manhattan, they battle petty criminals, evil megalomaniacs, and alien invaders, all while remaining isolated from society at large. The team's anti-social bad boy, Raph has an aggressive nature and seldom hesitates to throw the first punch. His personality can be alternately fierce and sarcastic although this could be attributed to "growing pains" in his teenage years. His bandanna is red and he carries two sai. |

Because I'm a total sucker for uberangry!Raph I'm going to play him in a pre-movie Nightwatcher style. Due to absurd lameness of the comic book stores, though, local as well as online and unwillingness of the mun to base stuff on wikipedia/fan plot synopsis only I'm not going to include the movie prequel comics stuff for now. Bear with me, I've tried to get my hands on them like forever. |
